The fourth entry in the Girl Boss series, simply entitled Girl Boss is director Norifumi Suzuki’s last effort in the series, with Miki Sugimoto and chums escaping from a reform school van and hightailing it back to Tokyo to continue their careers of thievery and grifting. They get in dutch with mobster Bin Amatsu’s gang, a group who specialize in kidnapping teenage girls for their sleazy brothel. Sugimoto is snared, abused then finally released on the sly by a smitten young mobster (Hiroshi Miyauchi). The two have sex in a dirty, neighboring alley, something that leads to the revelation that Miyauchi is the former boyfriend of Sugimoto’s arch rival (Reiko Ike). Later, boss Amatsu agrees to overlook Miyauchi’s release of Sugimoto if the youth will set up his ex-girlfriend, Ike, for death. It seems Ike had severely stabbed Amatsu several years previous. Conflicted Miyauchi reluctantly agrees, but he turns the tables at the last minute, stepping in front of the bullet meant for Ike. Sugmoto is as incensed as Ike by Amatsu’s dirty tricks, and the two girls patch up their differences, leading their cohorts in an attack on Amatsu’s sin den, decimating the yakuza villains and liberating the drugged girls.
